They lead by example, displaying integrity, honesty, and a strong work ethic. They inspire and motivate their team and others to reach their full potential, recognizing and celebrating individual and team achievements along the way. Being a natural born leader and having great examples throughout my life of this leadership style has transformed me into the woman and human I am today.

Lekia K. Hill is the President & CEO of Lekia Tech LLC and the founder of Powerful Voices App, a non-partisan tech-based civic ecosystem. The Powerful Voices App connects constituents with their elected officials from their mobile devices and conducts surveys to enhance social and economic welfare in underserved communities. Lekia is a dedicated Civic Enthusiast with a strong background in Anti-Racism/DEI training and development, community engagement, and government relations. She has a lifelong commitment to humanitarian efforts and a keen interest in human rights, civic evolution, and the well-being of disadvantaged urban and rural communities. With over 15 years of experience in sales and marketing for Fortune 500 companies like Wachovia, JP Morgan Chase, and Clear Channel, Lekia discovered her passion for organizing and community & government relations in 2010. She has since coordinated critical social and economic progressive policy campaigns in New York, successfully lobbied for state education aid amounting to over 1.4 billion dollars, campaigned for campaign financing reform, and contributed to statewide rideshare legislation that has benefited Central New Yorkers. Transitioning into the construction industry, Lekia served as the Community Outreach and Diversity Coordinator for Hueber-Breuer Construction. In this role, she managed community engagement and oversaw MWBE Utilization for company projects. It was during this time that Lekia embraced her gift for connecting people, facilitating information, opportunities, and driving equitable change.

Hill coined the name “The Real Deal Hill” given by Nationally Acclaimed Broadcast Professional and Syracuse University Professor Dr. Roosevelt Rubin “Rick Wright” Jr. due to her broad range of work experience, ethics and efforts in community service. She resides on the Board of Directors for both ACR Health, a NYS organization that provides services to individuals and youth affected by a wide range of chronic diseases including HIV?AIDS and preventive sexual health services and the YWCA of Syracuse & Onondaga County (Chair) dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all and CNY Works which focuses on critical workforce, economic, and educational opportunities and challenges and goal is to develops a workforce that meets business needs and strengthens the local economy .

In 2019 Lekia received the Manufacturers Alliance of Central New York's Mentor of the Year Award and continues to mentor young girls, aspiring leaders and professionals in the CNY area. Lekia resides in Syracuse New York with her family and is committed to making a difference in the lives of people and the community she loves. She is an engaging motivational speaker with tons of experiential inspiring and insightful stories to share.
